 hypoglycemia is a low blood sugar level in the body of less than 3minimol.

when a person luck glucose in the body that person can die because the body need energy to maintain it normal function

causes of  hypoglycemia

 hypoglycemia is caused only if the body has used all the available glucose and there is no replacement. so these are the common causes of hypoglycemia
  • luck what to eat
  • over starving
  • long journey without food.
  • waiting to long in line for services
  • standing for so long
  • disease
  • conditions like malnutrition
  • lack of appetite
  • taking high doses of insulin
  • alcohol
  • exercise.

signs and symptoms

  • Sweating: Excessive sweating, even when it’s not hot.
  • Irritability: Sudden mood changes, increased irritability, or feeling easily upset.
  • Hunger: Intense hunger or a sudden onset of appetite.
  • Weakness: Generalized weakness or feeling lightheaded.
  • Dizziness: Feeling dizzy or lightheaded, sometimes to the point of fainting.
  • Confusion: Difficulty concentrating, confusion, or mental fog.
  • Blurred Vision: Changes in sight, such as blurriness or double vision.
  • Headache: Headaches that may be severe.
  • Fatigue: Unexplained fatigue or weakness.
  • Nausea Feeling like vomiting or experiencing stomach discomfort.
  • Paleness: Paleness of the skin.and some time cold skin 

treatment of hypoglycemia

hypoglycemia is mainly treated with sugar northing else can treat hypoglycemia .
If the the parson is unconscious or not able to eat 

in a child 

Give IV dextrose 10% 2 to 5 mils per kilogram body weight.
or pass the nasogastric tube and give sugar water. or express breast milk from the mother.
 if the child is conscious and is breastfeeding continue breastfeeding.
give food to the child
give sugary drinks like sweet tea, juice, porridge etc
control the random blood sugar

 in adult 

Give IV dextrose 50% 50 mils or pass nasogastric tube and give diluted sugar.
 if the child conscious 
give food to eat 
give sugary drinks like sweet tea,juce ,porridge etc
control the random blood sugar
